Sharad Shambhar is a prestigious award competition where the puja committees (both traditional and theme based) contest among themselves. This competition commenced in the year 2014. The prime motive was to award the pujas who are committed to do an eco-socio puja. The secondary concern was to celebrate the grand festival with grandeur and giving new rays of hope to the underprivileged.

Sharad Shambhar has laid its roots all over Kolkata and many famous puja committees had lent their hands in this journey over the past 10 years.
